Full disclosure, I’ve never met anyone who has told me they didn’t wish they were making more money. Even if money isn’t your end-all, be-all reason for working as a travel agent, and I hope it isn’t, everybody feels like making more of it would be a good thing.

The first thing that comes to mind is usually the notion that maybe you’re not working hard enough, or putting in enough hours. ⌛ So people buckle down, tack on an extra hour or two per day, trying to drum up more business. And that lasts a month or so until they burn out on all that extra effort and sink back into a more comfortable routine, not really solving the problem. 😧
So what’s the secret? How do you make more money as a travel agent without cutting into the precious time you have for family, friends, travel, and other important aspects of your life?
