When you’re a solo travel agent, you’re 🤹 juggling a lot of responsibilities. You’re making sales, marketing your business, wooing clients, researching great deals you can pass along… It’s a lot of work, but at least you get the 💲 rewards all for yourself, too.
There are loads of travel agents who would love to be able to delegate some of that work to other people, even at the cost of sharing a portion of the income. If that’s you, then it’s time to start thinking about building a team.
So what does a solo agent need to do to shift their business to a team model? How do you know it’s really going to be the best decision for your individual situation? What responsibilities are you going to keep versus those you are going to delegate? 🤔
There are so many questions around building a team, and you shouldn’t go into it without a firm handle on what to expect. Who knows, you may even determine that this isn’t actually a good time for you to build a team, or that you just want to stay solo after all.

Having your own travel agency team isn’t necessarily for everybody. It may or may not be for you. The only way you’re going to know is to consult with people who have already taken this journey so you can get a better handle on what’s ahead of you.
