Remember summer vacations when you were a kid? 🌞
Every day of summer vacation was just a glorious celebration of freedom and joy. Maybe you took trips to the 🏖️ beach, maybe 🏕️ camping, maybe even 🏰 🐭 Disney World if you were extremely lucky. And these great experiences most likely came courtesy of your hard-working parents. 👪
But now you’re all grown up, and you’re the one who’s working hard to provide good things for your family (even if that’s just you). Travel business owners like you don’t typically get to just take three months off of work to goof off with friends and family. Instead, you have to figure out a way to keep your business humming along and making money while also taking the time to enjoy the summer.

The best way to develop that good work/life ⚖️ balance is to create a schedule you can follow. Schedule time to work, schedule time to play, schedule time for family. You may feel like this scheduling is going to get in the way of spontaneity, and I get that, but trust me. You’ll be able to do things more spontaneously if you have a plan for doing the things you have to do.
